JUNE 17, 2013 - WESTON GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB

On Monday, June 17, 2013 you are invited to support West Park Healthcare Centre Foundation, at the 9th annual Links for Life golf tournament. In the second year of a five year plan committed to hosting our tournaments at elite private golf courses, we are proud to hold this year’s tournament at the historic Weston Golf and Country Club –where the King of golf, Arnold Palmer, won his first PGA Tour Victory at the Canadian Open in 1955.

Since 1915, a Toronto hidden treasure has remained true to its original inspiration, and today Weston Golf and Country Club ranks among Canada's most challenging and enjoyable places to play. Located on the banks of the Humber River, the rolling land makes it an ideal location to put eighteen of the finest golf holes to be found anywhere. With lightning fast greens and close-cropped fairways, it is a true test of golf. Designed by one of the most renowned golf course architects, Willie Park Jr., and witness to Arnold Palmer’s first win on the tour – the Canadian Open, Weston is a historical masterpiece. Thanks to your philanthropic investment, all proceeds from the tournament will go towards supporting West Park's Research and Education Program.
